About Us and the Project

We are storytellers! Our backgrounds range from live action film making, writing, stop motion, sculpture, illustration and zines. The thread that connects our storytelling is social impact. We create projects that pose questions to the audience, providing food for thought that remain long after a project has concluded.

Our latest project is "Old People Island". An escapist adventure that takes place on a tropical island inhabited by bare bottomed senior citizens who interact and develop relationships with the sentient extensions of the island.

‍Our intention with this project is to create space in the media where elders are given a starring role and are portrayed with dignity, intelligence and joy. This re-imaging of elder life is important to our society and gives space to question how seniors currently occupy our media and social landscape - and if they deserve better, how can we achieve that?

Join us! We offer:

  • A creative, collaborative environment where everybody’s contribution is valued and there is room to critically assess and challenge our own ideas.

  • This is a paid, part-time contract position with an estimated start date of March 1, 2021. We anticipate this being about an 6-week period.

  • We are based in Vancouver, Canada and are working remotely.
